BIO

Yung Phenom, born Jon Alexander, is truly one of a kind. Music is an important part of his life and he loves to make it. Yung Phenom started rapping when he was about 13, but he didn't always want to do it. It all started when he was assigned a poetry project in English class. He did exceptionally well with it, and found a liking to it. Soon, he put his work together with music and found a whole new "hobby"; At least that was what it was at first. However, about one year later, his music started to be heard by his peers as the word got out about him rapping. Soon, he started to receive very positive feedback from all of his listeners about his skills and was encouraged to write more. He became better and better as each song was made, but this was just the beginning. Yung Phenom was born on March 3, 1991 in St. Louis, Missouri. He still currently lives there, and is working hard promoting his music. He chose his nickname because he considers himself phenomenal compared to other rappers his age. He is a smooth, hardcore rhymer and takes most of his influence from his favorite rapper Cassidy.
