| Verbal Taktiks was created in the winter of 2000 by its founding members Slant, WhytOut and Touch Instinct. Soon after its birth members Vizual Identity, Teflon Automatikkz, Druken The Omniscient Fantom and PheroCanEazUs would join along with the other members that compose its enormous size of at least 15 members. The crew itself is separated by sects of locations where each team functions independently in locations such as Florida, Puerto Rico and California. The crew’s most active sect residing in northern California under the record label Unleashed Entertainment is composed of Druken The Omniscient Fantom, SlantedOptics, and Vizual Identity.
Verbal Taktiks of Unleashed Entertainment’s members currently reside in Oakland, Sacramento and Pittsburg California. Their music is embedded with messages of love, war, poverty, riches, failure, success and revolution. A music for the world can only be composed of such issues and topics a world of social unrest, indifference and individuality with hope for a better future, could relate to and or enjoy equally across the world. They display their music as music for the people.
VT California continues to vigorously write and record with numbers of mixtapes under their belt while putting the finishing touches on their EP soon to be released “Game Of Words” while already in the middle of writing and recording for their debut album. With a buzz and following only growing immensely in places such as California, New York, Chicago, Arizona, Virginia, Florida, England, Tokyo and the Philippines the team bares a very large amount of weight upon their shoulders promising the return of not only real hip-hop, but real music period.
VT California will not disappoint providing an array and barrage of different songs creating multiple moods, setting an environment and ambience only true classic music and song writers could deliver. The beat selection, flow and subject predicate holds no bars or hooks from any listener the choice to even deny the quality of music put forth among them.
