here is the review of the 100 k interviews on the world famous wake up show... according kronic plague
here's a quick breakdown... since I know thats what heads are waiting for....
Myself- I didnt do what I planned to do... and I didnt like the beats that were given to me... I freestyled alot more then I expected too... my only real complaint about mine was that neither of my verses ended on a dope line... I also regret not battlin Sean Wan myself... because Sway told me he wanted me to do it, but I was tryin to let Madness get his shine because he is dope to me... but the more I think about it... the more I think I was being too nice...lol... I think, at least based on Sway's daughters opinion, that I left my mark... haha
Murdoc- this nigga got the dopest beats out of everybody in my opinion... and he MURDERED them... best rhymes I had ever heard him kick... "over ya head like the wife's Bouquet" that line is so murder... and he ryhmed that shit with y2k... fire
Mygrane- I knew dude was dope... but his style and character really shined... that switch southpaw then change his style shit was CRAZY... dude definitely shined
Borat- his 1st verse went so well with the beat he was given it was crazy... his shit was dope... and original... his style doesnt remind me of anyone... real charasmatic... dope
DRoss- his shit was dope... alot of relevent lines... alot better then his 1st time... he gets the most improved award from me... I wanna watch his vid again when its posted... good shit
Uptown Suite/ City Lights- theres was dope too... I wanna watch they vid again too... I couldnt hear the beat that good... so I could be wrong... but to me it seemed like the hook didnt mesh well with the beat... but they definitely did they thing... and uptown's verse was strong
Bay Boy- I missed his interview and only caught his rhyme... he was obviously out of his league... butat least he didnt fuck it up like he did last time
Harsh Z- ya shit was hip hop as fuck... ya boy d-sype KILLED it... you did ya thing too... but it was hard to understand some of ya lines and you spit for too ling in my opinion... but you came all the way from canada so fuck it...lol... for the record... Sway knew who hurricane Carter was... he was just 1- testin ya'lll and 2- giving ya'll face time... and that homosexual line was so crazy because it was attackin a specific group of people... when you compare it to the immortal tech line... he wasnt talkin to anyone specifically... you were...lol... that shit was soooo funny... especially cause you started that verse with "muthafuckin" haha... you did ya thing tho... and I felt the hunger... keep doing ya thing man... you came prepared and it showed
Arcynal- I love this nigaz style... he did his thing... I personaly felt like he was a little too aggressive and it probably would have sounded a lil tighter if he pulled back a lil... but the end result was still dope... and thats what matters
Shotz- I missed his... his verse in the cypha was dope though... "1 hoe, 2 hoe, 3 hoe, 4" haha
Cheapskate- he had a really dope line that I cant remember... his shit was exactly what I anticipated... real raw
Justalyracist- he had some real dope lines and concepts... his shit was dope... especially considering he got plates in his face and shit... he did his thing
Sean Wan- he did his thing... and he really put his self out there with the Crooked I thing... I respect it though... that was hip hop... his passion was so tangible I felt like I could touch it... he helped make wake up show history
Khanflict- he did alot better then he did the 1st time... Sway was on him for mentionin Crooked... but he did his thing... the 1st time he choked hard... couldnt get a verse out... this time he was askin to spit again and shit... a complete reverse... he was 2nd in the most improved voting for me
Ayana- she was one of my favorites... cause she a real mc... you can see that they gave her a beat that didnt suit her vibe... but she just trashed whatever she had planned, took the lemons and made some lemonade... Ayana Soyini is HIP HOP!
Crooked I- his interview was dope... made me look at him differently... I mean, I already knew he was dope... but now I recognize that his love for hip hop is genuine... the verse he spit was dope... Im glad he spit it... because over the beat they used on that Joe Buddens song(thats where his verse was from) I dont think you can really appreciate his verse the same way... that beat gets fucked on the stage, Im a pedofile unless i fuck wit something my age line is one of my favorites of the year... so soon as he started spittin I recognized the verse
Deat Heat- they were dope... they just dont look like what they sound like and may have trouble getting people to get over that
Apollo- he killed the mood with that poem...lol... but he did him... so more power to him... I will say though... that I felt like his poem was too preachy and feel like if he changed the wording and basically took out the "you's" it would work alot better... maybe even included himself by saying we... because as is it seems like you were attackin everyone in the room instead of tryin to spread knowledge... but Im sure you know more about poetry then I do... so do ya thing the way you feel is best bruh
