THE ART OF ACHIEVING
from "Warning: Contains
Audio" LP
I will not bow to your
greed!
Scrape up yourself and
bring it again
Open your face no need to
pretend
This is going to change
just a little
Break out the bags, and
stuff the facts in
Open your face no need to
pretend
This is going to hurt just
a little
Turn inside and
expose
Turn inside and
divulge
Turn inside and
counsel
Turn inside-out
explode!
Sell Me
The art of achieving will
overcome me
Pay me away
I will not be bought
Sell Me
Away with you heartless
selfish taunt
Show me the way
I Write My Life.
I know it’s inside each
and every one of us to
consciously avoid the
lies; the ever growing
need to feel like you have
to believe in
something you truly
don’t. It’s ok to
realize that doubt
shown on their lies is
your own uprising to a
socially provoked
thought. Which does a lot
more to energize the
soul then they’ll ever
sell.
Just a little confidence,
with a little common sense
will show you the
way.
Marching to, the beat of
you. Watch as we all come
stepping through
Just a little confidence,
with a little common
sense.
The art of achieving. Of
truly believing. Without
their deceiving. Is
everything you wanted for
you

BONNIE BLUE
from "Warning: Contains
Audio" LP
Sacrifice always seemed
like a necessary means to
an end. An unavoidable
measure of how successful
everything to this point
had worked out to be.
Shouldered with added
issues of integrity and
intensity, it now wonder
that everything seemed to
build upon her like a
brick mason’s nightmare.
It was the edge, the
boiling point of no
return. How long had
Bonnie felt like this.
The past mixed with
the present, denying the
future any real chance for
survival; and she realized
she was all covered in
red.
Bonnie Blue you knew as
you waited in your
car
Going through and through
your tragic fated war
But you would not ignore
them
And it conquered your
soul
Must’ve felt so good
letting go
Your inner demons only
whispered good deeds
Schizophrenic friends who
told you what you’d
see
And you would not ignore
them
And they conquered your
soul
Must’ve felt so good
letting
Now Bonnie would run hide
and plan another flight of
retribution. They
would all see her
cleansing hand. None shall
be spared on her path of
righteousness. The
good shall inherit the
world, the meek shall
inherit the world.
But you would not ignore
them
As it conquered your
soul
Must’ve felt so good
letting go
So right, So red,
Surprise, Your Happy
I’ve seen her a thousand
and one to this day
Held hands with her softly
daydreaming frame
Stepped out of the silence
and out of the shade
Even as tears creep, smile
and fade
Then you’d know what
you’d done to me
Hope you’d appreciate
it
Instead of always blaming
me
Wish we’ll get passed
it
So red, covered in
red
But you would not ignore
them
As it conquered your
soul
Must’ve felt so good
letting go
So right, so blue

WALTER
from "Warning: Contains
Audio" LP
So...again
Just another fucking
monster
Just another ugly monster
stuck on your face
Just a beautiful
disaster
Mimicked and mirrored in
your own hate
Give
It all
Go
Home alone
Can't you just see this is
everything
Stuck in the blood of the
ignorant
Wasting away
Something to say
Being against this awful
war
Differences
You and me
can't you see that we're
all stuck inside this
awful war
Some like to fall
Some choose to never see
the other side of the
wall

BROKEN LADDER
from "Warning: Contains
Audio" LP
Welcome to a pragmatic
state
That has trained you well
in the art of
unknowing
All that surrounds the
historical lies
Bred within automaton
governmental waste
projects such as
yourself
Searching for the masked
marauder on the broken
ladder
Of successfully destroying
free thought
In your ever impending
stale look-a-like
contest
So frail 'cause you all
won
Blow the town up in the
sky to behold all that I
have ever wanted to see in
someone like you
to bring on the strong
mental whistle dixie cup
filled to the rim shot
cracks through the
night
to behold to a surprise to
a delight in the wise men
like a star you are
I searched my life far to
close to the karmic river
to snatch up fate from a
cloudy head...
That I call home to the
rats packed stacked side
by set up everlasting
love
to scream it from the
heart and let it be known
as I roam the freaky mic
outburst
true to the bubble comfort
zone ain't got a will to
lie shit been rusted solid
for 24 years
bring it on with no
fears
Slow electrolis to the
system shock
Hybrid culture going to a
painful dull roar
Voices raging to be
heard
Upon deaf ears
Point your finger
I'll point mine
Glare upon me
I'll leach the
reverse
That I call home to the
rats packed stacked side
by set up everlasting love
to scream it from the
heart and let it be known
as I roam the freaky mic
outburst
true to the bubble comfort
zone ain't got a will to
lie shit been rusted solid
for 24 years
bring it on with no
fears
When darkness crawls
I'll savor the silence in
my sound
And give my all
But it's wasted all
away
And in your eyes I
see
What you had in store for
me
For I lived in your
dreams
But they're wasted all
away
So fuck you...
I thought you were my
friend all to the
bitter
ended up what it wasn't to
the clergy paupet
pressed
assessed damage control of
our souls rewind
entwine skip the part that
we ever met at all
How to get some
bass-like frequencies
without a bass player when
playing live
There's been some
confusion in regards to us
looking for a bass player.
we haven't lost any
members of Randall Flagg
:-) rest assured. Let me
explain what we do live as
opposed to what we do in
the studio and hopefully
it will make more sense.
When you record in a
studio, in case you aren't
aware of this, you can
record everything track by
track, one at a time. So
this could theoretically
mean one person could
record every single
instrument for a
recording. When we
recorded this album, JJ
laid down his drum tracks,
then I layed down my bass
guitar parts, then Ryan
recorded his guitar parts,
and I then again finally
did my guitar parts and my
backing vocal parts.
As you see, in the studio,
I record both Bass parts
and Guitar parts.
So heres what we've been
doing live, now pay
attention, here's the
little trick.
What we've been doing live
is me and Ryan both play
guitar. However, I split
my signal into 2 signals.
One goes to my guitar amp
and rig and the other
signal goes to an octave
shifter (quality and
settings of the shifter of
course matter alot) then
to a bass rig. Now I can't
play my bass parts exact
because I'm basically
playing my guitar parts
live, but you get the
sonority, that is the
tonal sound of bass and
bass frequencies and it
works quite well! People
are always like, "wait,
you don;t have a bass
player" after the show
ahahah
This has been a technical
moment with Bob :-D
