Thanx to everyone that came out to the Parkside Tavern show!
Thanx to all that came to the Parkside Tavern last night! Thanx to Egokill for kicking ass yet again as well. Huge props to Dave of G Force Productions for making us sound great! Also thanx to Rich Marini, Courtney, and anyone else who was taking pictures, but more importantly, thanx to everyone that came out. We saw a lot of people there who've never seen Pinion before, that's pretty cool.
Hopefully over the next few days we'll get photos and maybe, if Chris' old computer decides to work, maybe we'll post some video up as well.
Our next shindig on the schedule is October 31st at the Parkside Tavern with Days of War and the Laysan Rail. There's 2 more, just can't remember them off the top of our head. This will be a real deal halloween show, we are making costumes for the show. That's right, we're going to put effort into it. Mostly because we're really kids at heart(ok, so Chris and Dave are, I mean who runs to the Ice Cream truck anyway?) but we want to have fun with this stuff, so don't act like you're too mature for it, go get a costume and come out to the show. I don't care if you go as Crazy Newspaper face, Buckwheat, or Charles' funny rowdy Uncle "Rambone", just get a costume and come out. Maybe we'll give prizes to best costume? That's your hint to get a costume!
Anyway, we're hoping to get some stuff upstate before the halloween show, or maybe even a show in Jersey, and November is rumored to be absolutley crazy, so keep an eye on this page for more info on when and where we'll be next!

Oh and, we know we've said it before, but we're hoping to have the cd done and readily available at this show. We're going back in the studio to finish guitars on the 29th. Got to tell you, it's sounding really good.

Huge thanx to all the people who came out to both shows last weekend. It was a killer trek and it was awesome to run into old friends and make some new ones at the same time. We're hoping to come back to Monroe after the CD is out. We might have a show in Rockland for July, otherwise we plan on spending the entire month mixing the cd (well...on the weekends, we got day jobs) because we so want to get this done and out for you!

Studio update 2.5 Bass is done!
Hey, Weasil here. Chris, Leroy, asshole, or whatever you want to call me. Finished bass yesterday for the cd. Wowzas! Now I have more time to concentrate on purchasing fake neck tattoos! It was a pretty grueling process for me, because, Hey I've never been in anything that's made it to the studio, but somehow made it through it. For you gear heads, I did a majority of the tracking on the Fender American Deluxe Precision bass, and only whipped out the schecter for one song. Everything was tracked mic'd with a Shure Beta 52 for the lows and some other mic (Gessler?) for the highs, Gave it a nice gritty sound.
We also tried out this little magic trick for guitars that i'm pretty sure you'll be super impressed with once we begin tracking.

For those wondering when we're playing next right now the only thing we have on tap is 6/14 at Olives with Blue Collar War, Egokill and one more once we get in touch with them. We're hoping you all come out for this one, we're trying to make it a big one! Don't quote me but we might have an all ages show in OC also in June, and I know I'm also trying to work on an OC show for late summer, so that should be cool.

Oh yeah one more thing before we go, you have to check out this band Brock Murdoch We caught them at Olives last night, They are amazing!

Oh and one last thing, the past few weeks we've been having difficulty posting videos on Ursession. Most of the time we upload our videos to youtube, rather than re-up them, we try to just link the youtube videos, but Ursession doesn't allow us to do that. But if you really want to see our studio videos and our live footage, please visit and subscribe to us on youtube.com/pin ion211 if you subcribe you can see the videos before we even post them anywhere.
