When it comes to community
requests here on
ursession, I've gotten a
lot. And that's cool, but
there's a reason why I
accept some bands/artists
and not others.
If I can see your unique
talents and skills, making
music unlike anything I've
ever heard, you're in for
sure (Loka, Enjoy the Zoo,
etc...). If you just seem
to be pretty killer in
your genre (uniqueness
still in effect) you'll
make my community too
(Sadanhos, Two Minutes
Hate, etc...). And note
that none of the bands
I've accepted so far play
styles of music I listen
to on a daily basis, they
just happen to be really
good for what they do.
So basically, if I denied
you, it wasn't an
accident. Please don't try
adding me again. That
doesn't mean you suck, it
just means that I
(personally) don't see it
yet. Keep working.
Everybody has that
creative drive in them
somewhere.
