BIO

Sunday Best is not a Christian band. We know the name can be misleading. Sunday Best reigns from the small town of Nacogdoches Texas. The band is made up of four strapping young gentlemen who just love music. We repeat: MUSIC, not fads. Tired of the same old drop "D" sixteenth note power chords that flood the airwaves, Sunday Best just decided they would make their own music. Knowing that a band is nothing without a strong rhythm section, the band was founded around a funk/punk bassist and a jazz/rock drummer. Soon after a classical/rock guitarist and a soul/r&b singer were added. This diversity is what gives Sunday Best their sound. The guys took their love of all sorts of music and their different styles, and this is what they came up with. Having no mastermind within the group, each member is free to write anything he cares to. The only staple: it has to be a good song. Everyone writes songs. Everyone. Even the drummer. This is possible, because every member has been studying music through high school and college. These boys are ready to rock, and nothing can stop them. So if you just like music in general and you're tired of having to look a certain way to like a certain style, then Sunday Best is the band for you. Let loose and groove. You know you want to.
