I'm A&R at Record Union a Distribution company specialised on digital distribution and have distribution contracts with 90-95% of all retailers and streaming services on the net.
(Spotify, iTunes, Rhapsody, AmazonMP3, Deezer, Napster, Juno, Virgin Mega, ICJ, Last.fm, CDON, 7 Digital, Sony Ericsson Play Now Arena, Beatport, Lala, Jamba, 24/7 entertainment, eMusic, Masterbeat, VidZone Digital Media, DanceFuel, JamVana, Dj Tunes, Nokia Music Store, DJMr, Hardstyle, InProdicon, iMusica, Peoples Music Store, TuneTribe, Klicktrack, Prefueled, Yahoo!, Shazam, 3V, Beatsource, CdWorld, Fye, Netmusic, Amp3digital, Record Store, Townsend, Fun Club, T-mobile, Pannon, 3 Music)You find them with links here: https://www.recordunion.com/partners/
My A&R Profile: https://www.recordunion.com/Profile/24 where all artists I've signed so far are listed.
Registration and legal agreements: https://www.recordunion.com/Register/
If you want to get most out of the deal you register with my A&R code: 18a16dd6cb This code will give you two UPC-codes (digital bar-code) for free and you need one UPC-code per release, the code can also be used on physical CDs so you can sell them in stores.
The only other cost is an annual fee of 5 US dollar/release and year, this cost is drawn from the selling and if there is no selling there is no fee.
So the first two releases are totally fee free so to speak.
Then you have the FAQ-Page: https://www.recordunion.com/FAQ/
Let me know if you have any questions...
Even if Record Union is a rather new company (started their service in May this year) have I managed to build a good reputation as A&R and some time ago Record Union honoured me with an A&R profile on their Dog Blog. Where you can read a wee bit about me and a couple of the bands I have signed up: http://blog.recordunion.com/dogblog/2009/08/14/ar-tips-hasse/
Now you can also follow my work on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Hasse-AR-Record-Union/123195459269 and as soon as I've sorted out the coding my page here on MySpace will also become more useful for my A&R work.
Since the last couple of days bands/artists from my roster have got their music released on Deezer, the latest addition to the list of partners of Record Union. Deezer is one of the most popular streaming services in the world. With 9 million users and as many unique visitors a month, Deezer is a streaming giant, offering browser based on demand streaming from a vast catalogue. I'm compiling the bands/artists I've signed on this playlist on Deezer: http://www.deezer.com/music/playlist/hasse-a-r-record-union-30073585
