| Born in Stuttgart, Germany as a result of his mother being in the army, and his father being in the airforce, Roscoe came to the United States at the young age of 2. Roscoe has always been interested in the entertainment industry, ESPECIALLY music.
Taking violin in the second grade, piano in the 4th grade, and just being fascinated with music in general. In the 8th grade Roscoe began to rap but not to the point where he was serious about making it into a career. It wouldn't be until a year later in the ninth grade that the young mc would decide to take rapping seriously and try to make a career out of what seemed (and still seems) to be a promising investment.
Roscoe was so fascinated with making music that he wanted to know EVERYTHING about it and get a better understanding about how everything was done from making instrumentals, to mixing, arranging, and etc. Heavily influenced by producers such as Timbaland, The Neptunes, Just Blaze, Kanye West, Dr. Dre, and Premier, Roscoe began producing at the age of 16. This gave Roscoe the power to control EVERYTHING within his music. With his new-found knowledge he was able to understand how sound works and he was (and still is) able to shape any sound into the way he wants.
2 Years later, Roscoe has been rapping for 3 years and producing for 2 of those 3 years. Continuing to grow as an artist, a producer, and a person. No longer exclusive to making hip-hop music, roscoe once said "I hate being called a rapper... i'm an artist/producer. I want to do more than rap and make beats." Roscoe combines the elements of hip-hop, pop, rock, techno, r&b, and many other genre's into one.
Feeling ready to release his debut album entitled "the end of my world pt 1: birth" he feels this album will be a huge stepping stone in his life/career, taking him to the next level (whether that be local or widespread recognition). With a continuously growing buzz, its safe to say this guy will be a superstar.

Why This Name?
Many People ask me, "Where did you come up with the name 'Roscoe Wiki'?". Roscoe is my real name. Wiki was a nickname I was given by my family when I was just a child. I gave it the meaning "What I Keep Inside" Because I felt that my music is really my expression (or my release). What I keep inside of myself from the entire world comes out in my music.
Why are you calling your debut album "The End Of My World"?
I've decided to name my debut album the "End of my world" for a few reasons. If you believe in God you believe that death is not really the end, it's REALLY a new beginning. This is the first album of a three part series, it's going to really be called "The End of My World Pt1 : Birth" and essentially it is my birth as an artist/producer. When you are an infant you take in and learn from the things around you, This album is basically me taking in and learning from everything around me. |
