BIO

My name is Rich. I am doing business as r.kive Entertainment. I’ve actually been producing since I was 17 years old. I started out wanting to be a rapper producing my own music for my demo. I decided to take a break, which turned out to be one of my biggest mistakes in life. Many years past, but that passion and that dream never died. One morning I woke up for work and made up my mind to get back to pursuing my dream (at least this one). I purchased an Akai 2000xl, maxed out its capability and a Yamaha Motif 7. I’ve been pursuing my dream since then. I do it for the love. I am addicted to the ideas floating around in my head all day, and Then I finally get to my equipment and put them together…hearing the end results. I still can’t believe how even some of the tracks on this page came out. I try to make music that grabs your attention as soon as the first note or beat drops. That is my goal every time I turn my equipment on. I listen to all music. I am inspired mostly by Just Blaze, Kanye, Timbaland, Swizz Beats, Dr. Dre, the list goes on. I am currently working with my nephew Keys. He is a rapper 22 yrs. old, born in Yonkers, lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. His music will be posted on my page soon(the kid is fire). I am also creating a web site to profile and sell my tracks via the internet. Artists will be able to listen to snippets, purchase (via credit card) and download tracks directly from the site. My goal is to just be successful in whatever I do. I am an Aries (zodiac). Once my mind is made up there is no deterring me. My mind is made up about music. Thank you for visiting my profile.
