RazKa MeZta is a project that was started back in 1997 when the band “Bosque Negro” broke up. Ro (lead singer) started looking for people to start a “Latino Rap” band and was striving to sound like bands such as “los quehaceres de mama” “tiro de gracia” “control machete” “flor de lingo” “Resorte” and such. Unfortunately people in Chihuahua weren’t up for playing that style of music and Ro receded but kept the idea in his mind.

After finishing high school Ro moved out of the dusty streets of Delicias, Chihuahua and started a new life in Las Cruces, the idea of “Razka Mezta” stayed in his mind and, once again, he was in the look-out for musicians. Now his musical tastes had changed and matured and he started listening to a wide variety of latino music, ska, reggae and funk.

RazKa MeZta es un proyecto que empieza en 1997 con la disolución de la banda “Bosque Negro” Ro (vocales) decide hacer una banda de “Rap Latino” y al no encontrar músicos en Chihuahua decide esperar un poco.

Después de graduarse de la prepa Ro se marcha de las calles polvientas de Cd. Delicias Chihuahua y se instala en Las Cruces donde empieza a buscar músicos una vez más. combinando diferentes estilos de música que incluyen el funk, el reggae, el ska, el punk, y diferentes influencias latinas Ro sigue en la busqueda de musicos.
