| When I Was About 11 I Started To Learn To Play The Guitar, Self taught I Learned "Paint It Black" By The Rolling Stones, Then It Was Chop Suey By SOAD, I Wanted To Play Guitar So Very Badly Like SHREDD The Guitar But I Knew i Sucked At it Then So I Continued To Learn Stuff That Other Kids never Even Heard Of At The Time, Like The Solos To BB Kings version of,"Born under A bad Sign". I Learned My First Some What Solo Thanks To Him, It Wasn't Much But It Still Sounds Cool Today!
As The Years Went on I Remember That I Got into AC/DC Really Bad!!!! Especially The Live Concerts M-Azing Thats When I Knew I Fell In Love With The GIBSON SG It Was So Beautiful
I Wanted One so Badly, I Played A Fender Stratocaster At The Time, And My First Full On Guitar Solo That Came on perfect Was The Solo To " Its A Long Way To The Top If You Wanna Rock And Roll" By AC/DC.
The First band that ever wanted me in there band was a band called "Abide" There Was No Singer That Was Brave Enough to step up to the mic, But we Still got a show at a wedding.Lol!!! The Few Songs We Played Was "sweet Dreams" (Marylin Manson version)
It Went well But There Still was no Singer. Then we Played A Song That Was So Called "Acid Rain" That Was A Big Disaster!!!!
After That The Band Slowly Started To Slip away, Then i Was once More On My own.
At That Time My Guitar Skills had Grown On To Be Really great I Had Mastered The Entire Song Of IRON MAN By Black Sabbath, That Was As Easy As Breathing Then I Was Learning Randy Rhoads Free Styling I Was Just So interested In His work!!
The Next Band I Had Been in Was A Few Years Later It Was a Band Called " Dawn Trinity"
Started By A Big Guy Who Played Bass, At that Time In School There Had Been An Event Called The Shiprock Talent Show, And Then I Had Went To Sign My Self Up For A 5 Min Guitar Solo I Just Happend To Be in The Band room (Where The Auditions Took Place)
And My Friend The Guy We All Knew To Be The Comic Book Guy From The Simpsons
Had His bass And Two other Guys And He Did not Know A Thing To Play And They were Waiting on Him ( Here I Come To The Rescue After His Drummer And I Had A Talk)
We Did "Thunderstruck" By AC/DC, I guess it Rocked, There i Was Again Being In A Band Once More, The Problem With This Band Was that No one Practiced, And I Was going To Be Damed If I were To Suck Again In front of 1000 Teens, The Day Was here And we Played" Let There Be Rock" And "Baby Please Don't Go" By AC/DC, I am not Ashamed To Say "Yes......Yes We Sucked.......", But Good Thing For Me I Still Signed Myself up For my Solo In The Middle Of Those Songs For my Solo And I Was Going crazy on stage I became known as the dude who can play the guitar BEHIND HIS HEAD!!! After That The Band Slowly, Yet Slowly Fell And Came To An End............The next Year Came Around And Alot Of Girls Had Asked Me To be there BoyFriend,lol lol lol lol lol lol !!!!! But I didn't want a girl friend.
Then The Year Came When I did Get A Girl Friend It Was A Solid Black GIBSON SG!!!!!
And I Loved It!!!!!!! About That Time The Talent Show had Already Came Around Again And
I Was Asked To Be In Another Band Called " Black Ink Trio" It Was Just Me A Drummer And The Bass Player That Started "Dawn Trinity" We Maid An AgreeMent That We Do it My Way And My Way Only And They Agreed, And We Played " Crazy Train" By OZZY, Damn Did It Rock The House!!!!!! Mean While I Was Asked To be in Another Band That Had No Name! No Singer, No Nothing! I Was Like What Are You Guys Gonna Play? Chop Suey They Said,
It Was Crazy But I'm A Crazy Person And I Joined. I Got Every Thing Down Perfect. But No Singer And One Practice I Went up To The Mic And Gave it A Try, Hey.....I Can Sing it!!!!
So I Did And We Rocked out on It And That was the first Time i Ever Sang And I liked It,
I Just Did What Most People Said was So Hard, Move Your Voice Up an Down In Different harmonies.....Serj Tankian Was My Favorite Vocalist Every Since that Day! The Day Came And We Had No name, We were all Sitting At A Table Eating Lunch And Our other Friends Were Talking About Porno Movies(boys will be boys) And They Said Call Yourself That!
And Every Since Then , We Were Known As "Screaming Sideways"LoL!
As The Years Went On we Switched Out Band Members But Me And The Second Guitar player Are The Only Original Members Of That Band, Even The Guy Who Started That Band
