I picked up bass guitar at age eleven, being inspired by various bass players like Murdoc Niccalls, John Paul Jones, and Sting. I chose bass because I didn't want to "fall into the crowd" and play guitar like every other person in the world. My musical taste has broadened and multiplied tenfold since picking up bass. Bass has opened up so many worlds to me. I'm a big fan of metal, hard rock, alternative rock, heavy metal, nu metal, jazz, funk, and some rap (no mainstream rap that overwhelms MTV broadcasts; stuff like A Tribe Called Quest, NWA, Beastie Boys, and the like) My musical idols are Serj Tankian, Shavo Odadjian, Jaco Pastorious, Flea, Geddy Lee, Les Claypool, Tim Commerford, Chris Cornell, Neil Peart, Daron Malakian, Marilyn Manson, Geezer Butler, John Paul Jones, David Draiman, Anthony Keidis, and every single person who strives to play their best and dedicates themselves to music for the passion, and not the fame or money. I love music and bass, and always will. I came to this site to show the world what I have to offer and get known (once my camera comes in...hahaha)
I also enjoy writing lyrics. I just wish I had someone to share them with and put these lyrics into full effect in a song. I guess I'll post my favorites on here.
