Mic Danja is one of the few prolific hip hop artist coming out of the Bay Area right now. Mic Danja is the first since K.R.S. One to really strike a cord. He speaks the truth he experiences and shows the painful reality of the impoverished world he is reaching out to. Yet, he does not trample on dignity or glamourize violence. Few music leaders these days are saying anything of real value and even fewer say it so directly. The power in the music is in Mic Danja's command of the voice and breaking ryhmes that flow without false promises. He delivers hope where it is lacking and brings dispair to light...
