The origin of Menno-P is a highly debated topic within the Mennopeeologist community whose arguments are only supported by rumors, opinions, and tall tales. However, rejecting these claims entirely would be as ridiculous as believing them. The only fact accepted by researchers on the subject of Menno-P is that he takes form as Paul "Menno" LeMay. This identity is assumed in order to allow Menno-P to function in everyday society. Researchers agree that saying LeMay is Menno-P is in error. LeMay, it is believed, is no more than a puppet who is used when Menno-P wants to make his presence known.
Egotists believe that the origin of Menno-P takes root in Ancient China. According to Egotists theory, during the Chang Dynasty a Buddhist monk shunned his ego from his soul in his quest for ultimate enlightenment. However, the monks ego was strong and upon exile leached onto the soul of a passing farmer. The ego -- also believed to be Menno-P -- fed off the farmers soul. Eventually the farmer became greedy and began overpricing his crops. The people refused to pay the farmers ludicrous prices. Consequently, the farmer lost his money, his farm, and ultimately starved to death. Upon the death of the farmer, the ego, desperate to live on, entered the body of an earthworm until it could find another soul. Through time the ego moved from soul to soul gaining wisdom, corrupting some and helping others. Some feel that the ego is Menno-P, now feeding off of the soul of LeMay. Egotists have a strong belief in this theory and feel that those who dont agree are not worthy of such a great idea.
Another popular belief within the Mennopeeologist community is that Menno-P is actually an extra-terrestrial life form from the planet of FWahrld. They believe that Menno-P was outcast -- either due to his political beliefs or overpopulation of the planet,--and was forced into space, destined to float in its abyss for eternity. While floating through the black void of the universe it came across the planet Earth. Lacking a physical body, its believed that Menno-P nested itself into the mind of LeMay. This theory, known as Reject Theory, is believed by Reject Mennopeeoligists to be the most credible and sane theory. Rejects claim lyrics such as "I'm in that Fwahrld astral plane/ past insane when I pass your brain/" proves that Egotists have no right to reject the beliefs of Reject Mennopeeoligists.
Other theories include squirrels and cheese graders, but these theories lack sense and reason and are quickly disregarded and laughed at by the Mennopeeologist community. Mennopeeologists disagree on many theories, which has lead to long and lethal debates. However, one fact that Mennopeeologists can all agree on, no matter Egotist or Reject, is that Menno-P makes slappers. |
