| MAV is an artists artist. His skills speak for themselves. He has a huge catalog with many years of experience in music. MAV’s first release in 2005 put him on the map and he has not stopped since. Born and raised in Chicago, MAV started recording tracks in AZ. He has always had a love for music and has been influenced by various artists. MAV has much love for the city that has taken him in and given him the opportunities to be where he is at now. MAV comes with a sound that no one else has. He makes music that speaks his mind and represents his life experiences. MAV has been able to create an enterprise with his albums, PR companies, media companies, upcoming films, and his group SOL CAMP. SOL CAMP is a group of Latino MC's in Phoenix working to put their city on the Hip Hop radar. With the release of the first mix tape, SOL CAMP created a major buzz in the Phoenix Hip Hop world and received much love from major radio stations Power 98.3 FM and Latino Vibe 95.1. SOL CAMP is currently working on their first full length album that will be out soon. That is just the beginning. MAV was born a hustler and will continue to represent AZ and put the whole city out there like no one has ever done. MAV’s style is very lyrical with a commercial sound that represents Latinos. His sound is like no other and he makes himself known every time he steps up to the mic. MAV has gained invaluable experience by opening up for such great artists like Lil Rob, Baby bash, Omar Cruz, The liqs, Kurtis Blow, DJ Kane (Kumbia Kings), KRS-ONE, Brown Boy, Paul Wall, Chingo Bling, Too Short, Devin the Dude and more. On top of that he has performed with all the major emcees from the Phoenix area. MAV’s success has not gone unnoticed. He has been profiled in such Phoenix Publications such as the Spanglish Times, 944 Magazine, Nosotros y Tu, New Times, ASU State Press, Channel 3, and many more. He was on the cover of XPOZ Magazine and Press Box because of his popularity. He has also had over 20 songs played on the major radio stations in the valley. One of his most recent achievements has been to represent Phoenix and AZ for MTV2 MyBlock profile. The video that was made by MAV and Daniel Zepeda made it to the finals and was shown nationwide on MTV2. MAV is in the studio working on this second album and is ready to take over the Phoenix scene once again.
