BIO

KIN is a melodic and progressive metal band situated in Norway. The band is situated in Lillehammer in Oppland, and have a small number of fans there, but is also somewhat known outside the city. We are hoping, in time, to get to play more outside Lillehammer. :) KIN saw the light of day in 2003. Back then the starting members were Øyvin, Peder and Petter. Since then several other members have been in the band. As of March 2008, the lineup is Petter and Øyvin on guitars, Morten on bass guitar and Terje on vocals. We are in the process of finding a new drummer. So far in KIN history there have been recorded two demos, one in 2005 and one in 2006 (none of these are available for sale). A new EP has been recorded, and the songs will be uploaded to the bands Myspace-account as soon as possible. The main focus for the band these days is to rehearse new songs and prepare for live shows. Stay tuned for more info.
