About ICYROC KRAVYN IcyRoc Kravyn's ingenuity for laying down breakthrough instrumentals led to a lucent career as a musically eminent producer. IcyRoc's instrumentals helped sculpt the rap/hiphop scene in the greater Kansas City area. His production can be heard on the bulk of K.C. albums released throughout the 1990s to today.. His humble contributions to a then low-profile, artist, Tech N9ne ended up gaining Roc the most recognition and helped solidify his role as a producer. For over 20 years IcyRoc has been a major force in the creation & evolution of the Kansas City urban music scene. His legendary "RocPit" studio has been the birthplace of the sound & style for such artists as Sole, Tech N9ne, Kutt Calhoun, Snug Brim, BG Bulletwound, Big Krizz Kaliko, and many more. Today he is still one of Kansas City's most reliable hitmakers. His versatility, reputation and strong desire for quality make him a hot commodity. Roc is currently extending his arm to artists across the map, giving them a taste of that Kansas City sound that he helped create. Some of IcyRoc's best known works are songs adored by Tech N9ne's occult folowing, "This Ring","It's Alive", "Going Bad", "T9X", and many underground works. His talent is not only limited to beat mining. Mr. Kravyn also has the ability to scratch, mix, create sound patches, perform talkbox, and most recently has started a video production company.
