A Guilthee zenekar 2006 júliusában alakult Veszprémben, azzal a célzattal, hogy elvont elemekkel fuszerezett death metal zenét alkosson. Masszív gitárhangzással és technikás riffekkel, feszes kétlábdobos alapokkal, döngölo, néhol kitekert basszussal támasztjuk meg az agresszív hörgo, üvölto éneket. A dalok hangulatát szintiszonyegek alapozzák meg.
Peti évek óta keresett dobost, Gábor meg csak egyszeruen nem találta meg az alkalmas felállást egy kompromisszummentes, minden brutalitással, és betegséggel megfertozött extrém motívumokkal megfuszerezett zenéhez. Peti kész témákkal illetve kész számokkal érkezett, amikbol hiányzott a többi hangszer. Miután a Sunseth Sphere feloszlott (majd nemsokára újjáalakult), gyakorlatilag o is egy "tökéletes" felállást keresett.
Az elso témák e-mailben cseréltek helyszínt, ami meggyorsította a begyakorlásukat, és mire ténylegesen a próbaterembe kerültek már a dob és a gitár egy vázat alkotott. A legelso megkomponált dal a Soul Collector volt. Az elso hanganyag szövegeit már Ádám írta. Eleinte Puskás Péter funkcionált énekes/dalszerzoként, aki meglehetosen elvont, melankolikus verseit szállította a porondra. Pusit Peti hívta, aki sajnos pár hónap után egyéb teendok miatt távozni kényszerült. Így kötöttünk ki végülis annál a Horváth Ádámnál, aki az elso fellépéseket alaposan feldobta hatalmas lendületével.
Basszusgitárra Nagy Gergely érkezett, aki Gáborral zenélgetett korábban egy Pink Floyd feldolgozásbandának indult, de idoközben elhamvadt formációban. Érdekes, nem kimondottan metál zenébe illo futamaival gyakorlatilag helyet cseréltek Petivel a ritmus és dallamszekciót illetoen. Mindez azonban addig tartott, amíg Pusihoz hasonlóan Gergonek is túl sok lett a zenekarral kapcsolatos jópár teendo, lévén, hogy énekesként is o lépett volna elo, ha nem találjuk meg Ádámot.
2006 november derekán a dalszerzoi periódus folytatódott. A basszussal viszont még mindig gond volt, mert több ember is ki lett próbálva de aztán megérkezett Németh Tibor. Azonban eddigre már Bánfalvi Gyuri, aki Petivel együtt zenélt számos formációban, elkezdte a The Ghost of Denying feljátszását. A koncertezésre egyéb elfoglaltságai miatt nem vállalkozó Gyurit a továbbiakban már Tibi, mint állandó tag követte.
A helyzet aztán úgy hozta, hogy a nem túl aktív két új tag egy fél év tagság után el kellett, hogy távozzon, így egy rövid ideig a zenekar szüneteltette a próbákat is. A Citysound Stúdióban azonban volt egy nyeremény, amit minél hamarabb be kellett váltani, így Nagy Gergo lett megkeresve, aki ezáltal egykori basszerosból énekessé vált. A felvételek után egy megbeszélésen Gergo visszatérte hivatalos keretek között is kijelentetett. A The Three Knot Lane demó anyagát már ez a trió rögzítette. A basszust Peti kezelte. A hanganyag keverése azonban már nem ment olyan könnyen, mint a feljátszások. Több hónap huzavona után sem volt képes a stúdió elfogadható minoségben összerakni az anyagot, így azt Gábor saját mini stúdiójában készítette el.
Az elso demó még meglehetosen huvös fogadtatásával ellentétben a The Three Knot Lane-rol kimondott pozitív visszajelzések jöttek cikkek. A Mymusic magyar zenei portálon a GuilThee számai felkerültek a Webcharton a top10-es listára a "heavy" kategórián belül. Ezeket a sikereket azonban Gergo, Peti és Tibi mint már kívülállók kellett, hogy megéljék lévén, hogy a Gábor és Peti között feszülo személyes ellentét miatt Petinek távoznia kellett.
Ezzel az eseménnyel kezdodik a GuilThee történetének a harmadik szakasza, amikor is Gábor új tagokkal folytatja a zenélést. Az elso, aki meg lett keresve az a Vértesi István, aki a legendás Black Molly sorait erosítette precíz basszusgitár játékával, majd együtt zenéltek az Ötödik Évszakban. Ritmusgitáros posztra pedig Bachstetter Balázs érkezett egy másik egykori zenésztárs, akivel Gábor egy évtizeddel is régebben elkezdte a zenélést a Lust-ban. Azt, hogy egy szólógitárossal is kiegészüljön a banda egy érdekes eset döntötte el. Greskó Károly, az Animid Effect frontembere lett felkérve énekesnek, aki a hangszalagjai megóvása érdekében ezt visszautasította, viszont gitáron elvállalta a feladatokat, ezzel egy új hangzás kialakításának elosegítését.
Mindezek után alig egy hónappal sikerült megtalálni az ideális frontembert is Soós Gergely személyében, aki ultramély hangjával segíti hozzá a csapatot a megfeleloen súlyos death metal arculat kialakításában.

The band was founded in June ’06 by Péter Márton and Gábor Tóth. At that time, Peti had been looking for a drummer for a long time, and Gábor just couldn’t find the right person for a sick and brutal music without any compromise. Peti came with full songs and themes after the break up of Sunseth Sphere, his previous band.
Guilthee is based on one guitar because of the song’s concept and the well worked out structures. So in this band another guitar player will be unnecessary. The vocals are between screaming, whispering and rattleing and it closely connects with the music. The drums are a complete medley of many styles from soft to totally extreme. These components give the real face of Guilthee.
The first songs had been written at home, and on the first common practise the full drum and guitar parts of Soul Collector were completely composed. Péter Puskás was the first singer who wrote esoterical and melancolic poems as lyrics. Pusi had joined the band by Peti (they played together in Sunseth Sphere), but soon he left the group.
The bass player became Gergely Nagy, who had played with Gábor in a Pink Floyd tribute band, but like Pusi, soon he had to leave the group.
After a month of break Peti found the new singer, Ádám Horváth so the work could be carried on from November ’06. Ádám’s voice has a special rattle tone, and this help the band reflects more brutality. This time Tibor Németh had joined GuilThee as bassist.
This line-up was broken before the band recorded second demo called The Three Knot Lane. This demo was made by Peti, Gábor and Gergely. Gergely operated on this matter as a singer.

On 9th January 2008 three members left the crew because of personal problems proncipally. Gábor remained only member of GuilThee temporarily...
With this event the GuilThee third period started when Gábor resumed the music making with new members. The first who was requested Vértesi István. He proved the line of fabulous band Black Molly with his precise bass skill, then they played together in the Ötödik Évszak. Bachstetter Balázs arrived to do rhythm guitar tasks an another earlier musician mate whom Gábor started the music career more than a decade previously in the Lust. An interesting case determined that the band added a solo guitarist. Greskó Károly was requested to sing who denied this in the interests of his vocal cords, but he take on guitaring herewith advanced to make a new sounding. One month later Soós Gergely was arriving and the band became entire.
