| Hi to you people, my name is Bernardo, guitar and voice for God Made Human. The main reason this band exists is simple: Peruvian rock is almost inexistent, and we are here to change that paradigm. I started writing the songs back on 2002, but the band wouldnt see the light until May 2004, when I met Mauricio, an all-terrain drummer with a strong prog rock approach (ok, prog rock is not for everyone, but you know, prog drummers skills usually kick ass hehehe). We tried a lot of bassists, lots of ups and downs, and then we found Leo last year, and he fits just right into our scheme. We agred that the band should be a trio, and thats how things are today. We play rock, sometimes heavy, sometimes light, alternative, but we always pay respect to the golden rule of music: Melody is king. God Made human can sound heavy, raw, dense, light.... but always melodic. Now the files we are gonna post here are demos, raw demos indeed. Theres a lot to polish before reaching quality standards. But we wont lose anything if we show our music to the people!
And thats all, my friends. We are just starting to play in clubs, and its not that we are greenhorns. We just didnt have enough time to play, but now we do. Our goal? To establish a new standard for peruvian rock and roll, solid songwriting, solid performance. Thanks for reading, I really hope you like our music. Talk to you soon. |
