| Well I wouldnt Really Call Myself A band, but I tend to be the Man Behind alot of the Scenes or the cause for that track that you said was hot! Im not here to toot my own horn or tell you Im the Hottest Producer around. Im letting you, The people/fans/customers..... the list goes on, Decide whether or not that is true. I Spend alot of My time working With a Mutually invented group Service providers. But I am looking to Broaden my horizons & work with other artist aswell. Why this name?
This Name Giechi Dan Was inspired By an old Bill cosby movie Im sure those of us old enough to remember is called Uptown saturday night. For those of us that have seen it you will probobly remember Who Giechi Dan is.
Do you play live?
I have Produced for a number of artist that I have either performed with or are performing using the services of Giechi Dan Productions. so in that Case, YEs!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has made the gift of good free downloadable music available to the common man!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
its depends on the honesty & intentions of the label. I have spent alot of time around music even as a child & know how to spot a bum deal! Plus Im not waiting for the Majors to sign me nor do I have any hopes for it. I do my own Mastering, Production ,writing & have pretty Good Distribution Connections. I may not be a self made millionair yet, But I am doing just fine selling my tracks Independently!

Funk from the 60/70/80's, Underground Rap, old school R&B, Old school Rap, & basically real music!

SAN FRANCISCO ,CA Because they have the best selection of modern technoligy & they always seem to get the newest products before the rest of the country!
