| Arturo Ramirez, aka Five Doza, is Houston’s newest Independent Record Label owner / rap artist. After being in the producer spot for 7 years, Doza finally decided to market and release his own music. The unique name "Five Doza", which originated from his producer name "500", is spreading through out the streets of Texas along with his record label, South Nox, Inc. The young entrepreneur has teamed up with real estate industrialist “JT” to launch the next big independent record label in Texas. With a consistent on-the-road marketing approach, Doza has accomplished more in the “biz” in 3 yrs than most have in 10. After making a catchy club record entitled "She Wants a Bad Boy" and promoting it on myspace, Doza caught the ear of nationally known music video director Dr. Teeth, and shot his first video for his debut album "Out of Tune", which is set to release in late 2008. Doza is not the only artist on the South Nox record label; He signed Houston native, Ramiro Rodriguez, aka Sun of Sam, and Midland native, Juan Gonzales, aka Spyder Streetz. Five other artists are on the roster, but are on the South Nox artist development program. Together, all the artists are known as the South Nox Mad Camp. South Nox artists have opened up for major recording artists such as: Chamillionaire, Paul Wall, Lil' Flip, Korn, Deftones, Staind, 3-6 Mafia, Sean Kingston, UGK, Trae, and many more. Doza, along with his label-mates, have been making noise in Texas for a while and are now rockin crowds outside the state. These days, playing the roll of both the "boss" and the "artist", has Doza working non-stop. However, the recognition and the steady rise to fame is what keeps the fire lit and the dream alive for Five Doza and the South Nox Mad Camp. |
