| The Band is named 'Faigan', which formed in early 2005 as a three piece Alt Rock band, consisting of Ben Brown - Guitar and Lead Vocals, Doug High – Bass and vocals, Jack Robertson - Drummer, however in late 2006 New Guitarist David Gibson joined the fold to form a new array of sounds from which the band went from strength to strength playing to large audiences in various venues in and around Glasgow - Edinburgh area.
It is a four piece band, with influences from bands such as – 30 Seconds to Mars, Bullet for my Valentine, Nickelback, The Disturbed, Biffy Clyro, The Ataris, The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Funeral for a friend and many more.
Early 2007 Faigan saw the departure of Drummer Jack Robertson due to unforeseen circumstances and quickly there after recruited new drummer Ross Walker. At this point Faigan took a few months out and began writing new material, again altering there style with the new influences from new recruit Ross Walker. After this short period the band were soon to be seen playing in venues such as The Barfly, Cathouse, Strawberry fields, Sound Haus and various others.
Faigan are now set in there ranks with one clear aim, which is to push on with sheer determination and dedication with the clear intent to make it all the way.
We are a very friendly but focused group, and are intent on making it to the top. We try to use influence from other styles, however adding our own flare and making it our own. |
