| Quentin (EYE-QUE) Fields was born on December 17, 1988 in Panorama, CA. He moved to Northridge, Long Beach, Pasadena, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Peroria, and Palmdale; all before his 11th birthday. With the change in scenery, EYE-QUE was placed into a foster home with his older brother because of family problems. His mother tried to get them back and after two years she succeeded. Soon after they were aprehended again, after neighbors told lies about the way his siblings had been treated.
In 2001 the drama was over, EYE-QUE moved in with his grandmother and began to live a more loving and fullfilling life. After finally calling Palmdale his home he continued to write poetry as well as lyrics like he had done in his early years of elementary. He rhymed constantly in his room and to close friends, but not thinking, he would one day give up his dream of becoming an OBGYN. During his junior year of high school, EYE-QUE began to take his musical caeer seriously. After dropping out of his high school's medical academy, he began to spend more time with his word play and artistic development.
He even made a mixtape for his senior project and recieved an "A" in every part of the grading rubric. He joined a group with his "broders" Rob J, J.HITM, Ryteous, And Deja' Vu and after recording multiple community felt songs, the album is almost complete. EYE-QUE has always been a solo artist at heart and with the love and support of his group he is now working on his solo album. Graduating from Palmdale High School in 2007, EYE-QUE went to California State University-Northridge, but transfered to California State University-Chico.
EYE-QUE makes songs about real life situations and obstacles. He combines his interminable vocabulary to explain the lives of the everyday person more vividly. Only 19yrs. old EYE-QUE has already turned th heads of every person that has ever listened to his words or had the experience to meet him. As a religious person EYE-QUE believes when the time comes, it will be the most perfect one, and everyone will be able to recieve and gain something from this underground artist. |
