BIO

Well this site is being constructed by bassiast James Williams with help of all the Eternity Lost crew, Eternity Lost was formed by vocalist and guitarist Mike Stetar with drummer Sean McDermott. They had played in many bands before hand but just couldn't figure out the correct line up. They gathered fellow guitar phenomenon Chuck Dietz and former vocalist Ryan Dowden to begin rehearsal. Mike thought of the name Eternity Lost as a symbolic reference to the book Paradise Lost.. many bands had the name Paradise Lost. The band liked the name and thus Eternity Lost was formed. They played their first show nearly a year ago and then Ryan parted ways. Mike stepped up to vocals and they recruited fellow friend James Williams on bass. Therefore they have done everything on their own with very little hand outs. They have recorded their own music, arranged their own shows, and developed a sincere fan base that stays true with the band. They come from the musical roots of metal, jazz, funk, rock, and classical. Many of these styles can be noticed in their music with it still keeping the good ol' ETL sound. They have just recently developed their identity and plan to only further advance themselves in first the Pittsburgh music scene and soon to be the world. There maybe others, pretenders, or copiers, but there is only one true Eternity Lost.

MUSICAL INFLUENCES

Any and all music ever created, we love all kinds and are open minded for more influences. Metallica and all other metal/rock bands from that era are a huge influence because of the overall instrumentation. We try not to sound like any other garage band who appreicates amazing guitar solos and great shows. Eternity Lost will hopefully become a more popular name in the greater Pittsburgh area.
