Ernie Bordon, better known as EbGb, is a hip-hop artist currently residing in Boston. EbGb stands for "Every Body's Gonna Believe." Eb was born in 1985 in North Jersey and later moved down to Florida. Steve Rifkind, founder of Loud Records and owner of SRC Records, firmly states that "EbGb is going to be the next best thing."
EbGb has been writing his own lyrics since the age of 13 without any bar or song structure and has been recording since the age of 15. He started consistently recording not necessarily seeking an album, just recording music that he loved. After Eb heard the reaction of his first recording, he knew that he wanted to make his passion a career. He has been very fortunate to take his talent on the road, and for that he is thankful. He is currently recording music and coming up with new material to perform at venues stretching from his hometown, to Detroit, over to New York and Boston and everywhere in between.
Eb's tracks are Hip Hop in its best form which he refers to as "Swamp Hop." Swamp Hop is a collective effort to test the boundaries and try new things because of the monotony of Hip Hop. Eb's tracks are a mixture of Hard Hitting to Light hearted lyrics with melodies and beats to match. Every song is completely unique from all of the others being that Eb is continuously experimenting with different sounds, styles, and samples. He'll use beats, drums,pianos, sax's and any other instrument that has the potential to be used. He'll sample anything from classical music, 70's rock, to new wave House music. If EbGb hears it and it's dope, he'll flip it.
EbGb has released three albums as a previous member of a group "III Deep," "The Re:Evolution," Sinkin' Quick," and "In Over Our Headz." He then returned to the studio working and releasing his first solo album called "The Phantom Of The Anthems. Copywrite, an Underground sensation, says "Seeing him perform had me freaked; you have what it takes; Don't Stop!!" Just to name a few, he has worked with artists such as: Bone Thugs and Harmony, Pitbull, Snow, Mos Def, Wu-Tang, and Obie Trice. Ernie is focused, laid back, exceedingly ambitious, dedicated, responsible, easy to work with and possesses "unlimited stamina." EbGb is the vehicle in which he puts all of his drive and ambition. Ernie's creativity and ability allows him to identify and build crowd rapport. As a result of his professional persistence, he'll make his dream of becoming a signed artist and household name a reality.
