DRYrun...Call it metal, rock, alternative, or punk…call it whatever you want, but if you were to ask the 5 charming gentleman from Winnipeg, Manitoba to describe there sound they would simply say its DRYrun...It all started in June of 2007 when a bunch of metal heads looking to rock the Peg' got together and started playing the kind of music that they wanted to hear. After years of trying to find the right people, Jeremy and Steve (Guitars) met up with Matt (Drums), Josh (Vox) and Cory (Bass) through an ad on a music site. A couple of practices under their belt and the boys knew they had something worth pursuing. Mixing influences from across genres and styles of metal, hard rock, and punk, DRYrun was born. Competing with Winnipeg's diverse and talented music scene wasn't going to be easy, and they knew they would have to come out swinging. With a do whatever it takes attitude they did exactly that, came out swinging! The boys believe you get what you put in, and you can see and hear it every time they perform. They believe their hard work, blood, sweat and tears they put into their music will separate them from other bands. The feedback from crowds and fans has been nothing short of amazing, and with a 5 song EP entitled Feed The Hate set to be released in the Spring, DRYrun is ready to start taking the World by storm.
