doobious consists of one white boy, born and raised throughout california. his love for all types of music eventually led him to seek the creation of his own. a self taught musician, doobious quickly realized that he had a greater desire to write original songs than to play the songs of others. doobious' style was founded on meshing the meaningful, melodic lyrics of his early singer songwriter days with hip-hop derived, guitar and piano laden instrumental beats. the raw, insightful commentaries, clever lyrics and driving hooks are poetic and direct with honest and oft satirical perspectives directed at betrayal, ignorance, society and often himself - all while attempting to reverse the dumbing down of popular music today.
