BIO

DEL is a singer, songwriter, arranger, dancer, actor, and musician. His work has not gone unnoticed. His original piece "Break It Down" was a finalist in the 2003 Chicago Home Jam contest. Sponsored by Coca-Cola/Sprite, it featured local unsigned artist. Two of his pieces, "Forever yours" and "Must Be Love" received honorable mention in the BillBoard national songwriting contest in 2004. In recent years, he has spread his wings to include acting and dancing. Del recently scored his first acting role in October 2007, as Loke G in the musical drama entitled "God Saw It" (Deavine 1 Productions). He was cast as a Renaissance dancer in the Madhi Theatre production of the Chicago Black Renaissance. He has studied with Bobbie Chance Acting, and studied under world renowned Broadway vocalist, Dini Clarke, both based out of L.A. Del fulfilled a goal by completing his first full-length CD, of which some songs appear on this page. Del has done many showcases, and will soon be seen and heard on televisions and radios near you!!
