| Roll-x a producer/ writer/ artist from the Bay Area, calls himself a producer/ writer first. He started making beats in the early 80's when he and another M C got a drum machine and a keyboard, and so started his production skills. As his music skills started to grow, so did his writing skills. Influenced by such artist like Stevie Wonder, Howard Hewitt, GUY and Teddy Riley, Chucky Booker, and the new HIP HOP era, he started to grow more creative. Soon local artist started comming to him for tracks and production. He started local groups in the 90's that did well, but never got big. One of thoses groups were called DA LIL RAZSCULZ, a young rap group with mad flava, was sought after by many local and major record companys. The group did they're final show at the Oakland Paramount Theater at a show case for Oaktown Records, who wanted to sign them. Roll-x who at the time, had no contract experience, made no deals (always hearing how shady the industry was). Soon after the group disbanded. ROLL-X kept producing for atrist, and noticed his voice getting stronger as a singer, and started writing songs for himself. Now he's ready to share with the world..............
