| I don't think it's really possible to say everything in a bio on website, but I can give you some highlights of my career life.
I have been performing nearly my entire life, whether it was dancing, acting or singing.
I found my most pleasure by the age of 14 when I was writing songs people actually wanted to hear. I kept writing, and singing. Eventually I had the opportunity to be the lead vocalist in many types of cover bands, ranging from rock to pop to blues to disco to gospel and counrty.
In 2003 with the encouragement of band mates I'd been working with for 8 years, I sold my house, my car, most of my possessions and made that big move to Nashville to pursue my career as a singer/songwriter. I was fortunate enough to be able to sit in with some of the best musicians in Nashville and was able to establish myself. While in Nashville I was a regular performer at Tootsies, Robert's Western World, The Stage, Legends Corner, Layla's Bluegrass Inn and the original Nashville Palace. A series of moves took me away from Nashville (although I visit every 4 months to keep my contacts).....but I somehow landed in the central Florida area where I now live and perform at different venues.
Some of my credits include:
Voting member of The Recording Academy (NARAS)
BMI licensed songwriter
2005 trophy winner - Sonic Search For A Star
2005 appearance in Toby Keith's video "Honky Tonk U"
2003 honorable mention award from Billboard magazine songwriter's competition
Opened for Kathy Mattea
Appeared on Charlie Daniels Talent Round Up
2007 hosted "Star Perfomer Singing Competition" Palm Coast, Florida
Produced and recorded my CD of originals "I Keep Dreaming" which has done fairly well in the indie market.
Never having been signed to a major label, this is a goal I still have in my sights.
My ultimate goal is to own my own club, where I can have a house band, sing whenever I want, and showcase other talent as well as songwriters. |
