Hey, I am Tha Midwest Contender AKA Tha M.C. Thanks for checkin out the page, let me hit ya with some backstory. Started writing Hip Hop in the summer of '06, just spit with the boys for awhile, before teaming up with Gizzle of DSM, and have been working with him ever since. The love of verse for me started way before i started writing Hip Hop. A published poet since the age of eleven, writing had been my outlet since before i can remember. as i grew more diverse with my writing, an using the things that were happening in my life, Hip Hop seemed like the next natural step. My passion for the art has steadily increased and it is now the most constant thing in my life. If theres nothing else, I have music.
