Raised by a single mother in the 1420 Brooklyn apartments in Flat bush. Maria his mother decide to make a move to Austin,TX. the live music capital of the U.S.A.He immediately took to the piano and writing.. As a young MC LD The Silent Don released a underground album called Laced With Game at the age of 20 which funded his next project ''Southern Hospitality''. Which included three other artist Big Reed, Soldier and Caprice.. The albums caught a buzz on the local seen but LD found himself pull in two different directions. Hustling on the streets was a common thread for young black men at the time and took most of his attention. But once he seen his friends going to jail and getting into trouble he decide that he would focus back on music. Looking up to artist like Dr. Dre and 2pac LD started building a home studio of his own and also getting his hands on production and writing. Soon after that LD jump into performing heavily which landed him a spot in a independent fighting movie called Blood Sweat and Teeth that was distributed nationwide. However the road to success has in no way been one void of bumps, forks and obstacles. Ten years of work LD The Silent Don has under his belt and he hasn't given up yet. He is a engineer,writer,rap artist and producer of his own record label '' Right Turn Music ''. Now he is preparing for new album ''The Truth Serum'' which consist of A list producer Winslow the trumpeter of Jayz's songs ''Momma I Made It'' and '' Rock Boyz".And also features Eazy E's ghost writer Dismost.. LD The Silent Don proves that working hard and never giving up on your dreams is worth the effort..He now lives on Los Angeles California
