He as an independent artist was able to push over 40,000 copies out of his own 2 hands in less than 3 years in his home city, and all over California. "I'm staying independent till the right deal comes my way and I wont lose" Gunz states. His Fist project he put out was the TNT mixtape. Teaming up with Tyquan Salaam to make the group TNT T Gunz and Tyquan quickly made the mixtape a success selling 10,000 copies on the street in the first year. Their next project which was the TNT EP was put out the following year and also sold in high numbers but the best project the two put together was the TNT Explosive mixtape which had a good mix of hard raw lyrics and song concepts as well as the club knocker "Fall Back" and Micheal terry Winfeild on song 6 titled GRAPES! The following year in 2006 T Gunz and his other group the Knoblez put out their daybue mixtape KOLLISION KOURSE. Once again Gunz had to see that the album was a success and flooded the streets with it selling in the thousands. The mixtape also had features from "BEYONCE", and "PLANET ASIA". T Gunz also teamed up with Kilo and YB to make the song "COPYCAT" which went to the number 1 spot on B95 homegrown for 4 weeks in a row which had over 1,000 on line votes in one week, and just recently came with the hit single "GET WIT YA" Featuring DENGEE, and HELLAQUENT which landed a number 2 spot on B95 homegrown within one week of being on the air and it also aired on Freshno radio as well.
