I started playing the guitar at 14 years old. It all started with a three chord punk song called the blitzkrieg bop by The Ramones. After this i was hooked to the instrument i played all day and night. 8 hour practice sessions consumed my life. As my musical interests changed so did my style of playing. It went from punk to rock and roll to metal to death metal and to shred and now i am in a heavy metal/ rock band called "Black Omen". Nothing beats the adrenaline of playing on stage with some of my best friends in the world Manni Mompeller(Bass) and Jamie Dill(vocals, Rythm Guitar). Also i have the love of a great woman to motivate me and inspire me everyday. Some of my biggest influences in guitar playing are, Randy Rhoads, Brendon Small,Alexi Laiho, Zakk Wylde, Eddie Van halen, Dave Murray, Yngwie Malmsteen and John Petrucci.i have learned many things over the years by Studying these guitarists. I like to play many different Styles of music such as punk, rock and roll, heavy metal, death metal, classical, blues, acoustic, shred and anything that has a good melody. The music that my band creates is different then almost anyone elses today. We have it down to a science. our singer Jamie Dill amazes us with his singing ability he can do things that i thought no one could do. He can go from the lowest singing to the highest pitch to the heaviest vocals you've ever heard without ever going off key. also he doesnt just use falsetto he goes up the whole scale which is a pretty hard and it takes alot of training. Our bassist Manni Mompeller Jr has bass lines that i think could even make Steve Harris or Cliff Burton look twice. He is a great bassist with enough skill to make someones face melt. This is a great band that i'm in and we have a solid work ethic. We are determined to make it big in the music world and that is just what we will do.
