Sleeping Giant is a crew from the heartbeat of the overly-boring state of Connecticut. Consisting of hungry emcees and a team of producers...this crew has had the aspiration since they first met well over 4 years ago. Consisting of Hope (Emcee/Producer), Faz aka Fazmanian Devil (emcee), Morse Code (producer), and DJ Quickdraw...the crew has developed into an entity all in its own. Thanks to the birth of Myspace and the internet, the group has been able to reach out beyond the crew and aquire the help of other emcees and producers from Connecticut, as well as across the United States. Enjoy our music, as we don't try to reach a certain audience and want you to enjoy the same vibe we get when we make out music.

MUSICAL INFLUENCES

I know we all have our different influences..but I've grown accustomed to the underground scene. Vinnie Paz is the one major influence I look up to...the man is just vicious behind a mic. But I can't forget CT's own born-and-raised Apathy..the dude has opened my eyes on how a 'punchline' rapper can just say what the fuck he wants...and make any track featuring him that much DOPER! The dude is a beast on the mic. I also gotta say that my other influences come from Jedi Mind Tricks, Celph Titled, Louis Logic, Copywrite, Blu, Evidence and Rakaa (Dilated Peoples) and the legend..Common.
