BIO

PoppahWillie is a native of Chicago, IL and came to California in 1985. He lived in the Los Angeles area until 1993 when he moved to the Bay Area. After working as a professional limo driver for eight years decided to restart his computer business and build his own recording studio. He has been in the music business since he was a pre-teen and professionally since high school. He has been a bass player for many artist such as the Chi-Lites, Garland Green, Tyrone Davis, Otis Clay, Little Milton Campbell, Syl Johnson, Johnny Taylor, The Scott Brothers, Platinum Band, Jimmy Reed, Bo Diddly, KEG and many others. PoppahWillie is one of the most creative and knowledgable musicians you will ever meet. He has designed and built stage lighting systems, fine tuned and restored guitars and basses for other musicians.
