BIO: Just when you thought you've heard it all, Recent Hours rips out the limitations holding back "rock" music by the roots. The members of this high energy quintet have combined their diverse influences into a unique identity that can only begin to be described as beautiful chaos. With inspiration coming from everywhere at once and nowhere at all, the possibilities remain infinite and the future bright for this young and extremely talented set of musicians. Continually venturing into uncharted terrritory, yet doing so in a way that seems strangely familiar, makes this the band to follow into the future.

Recent Hours began to take shape in the Summer of 2005 when founding members Andy Miller, Mike Powell and Andrei Tristaru decided to solidify the on and off again jamming they had been doing for the past six years. As a result of this long term friendship and the experience they attained while in other bands, this core line-up had established a strong foundation that was easily finalized with the joining of John Dortone in 2006 and Dusty Trullender shortly there after. All five have now melded their talents into an unstoppable machine with a singular purpose...to create mind blowing music. What you thought was the end of modern music is just the beginning...
