BIO

Born in New Jersey at the very end of the seventies the youngest of three and given his father's first and middle name Osceola Dubois has been destined to create his own legacy in music. From an early age "Dubois" (as those closest to him call him) was exposed to more worldy experiences than the majority of most rappers, moving overseas and living in different countries such as Eygypt, and places like Istanbul, Turkey. Those experiences stayed with him and his family as they moved back stateside at a young age to San Diego, CA. Largely influenced by an enviorment of local artists including an (older sibling) much of his time was spent studying the disciplined commitment to the originality of the artform. Hip Hop groups such as One Nation, and Ill Manor made lasting imprints on him as to the level of skill you must constantly be able to perform at creatively, on stage, in the studio, as well as lyrically. Throughout the years his skill for songwriting has improved; his ability to connect with the human spirit through a soulful energy is undeniable, crossing class lines, color lines, gender lines, and genre. His drive to become one of the most sought after artists creating a homemade style and sound has lead him to make what he calls "MindSoul'e Music". A breath of fresh air in a time of minamal talent. Osceola Dubois brings the air of a legend in the making coupling intelligent lyrics with vicious flow. A soldier in the Death Before Dishonor movement married to the code crafting MindSoul'e Music.
