Distinguished Trio Entertaint was established by three young men who feel that there is a great need for artist exposure in the Bay Area. DTE is very aware of the abundance of talent outside of the rap/hip hop world. Yes, there are places that do have shows for these artists but DTE felt there was a need for more exposure and a grander platform. It is time to bring the limelight to these artists and also bring them to the forefront of people’s minds. We found that so many have gotten away from coming to live venues. DTE wants to bring that back as well as provide a basis and springboard for many artists and musicians. DTE’s promotions are geared toward letting not only the Bay Area but the world, that there is some beautiful, undiscovered, raw talent here. It’s time for the Bay Area to be back at center stage for the talent that lies within. DTE will be running 3 series of shows. Each series will be approximately 3 months in length. These series will vary in themes and locations around the bay. Our first series will begin in February and continue till April. This will showcase some of the Bay Area’s existing up and coming artists. They will be coming together collectively to give the audience a collaborative show the will have them definitely intrigued and waiting to see what the next show will display. The second series will be from June to August and will begin to incorporate new fresh talent to open shows. Auditions for this will be posted at a later time. The last series will be from October to December. These shows will be a sight to behold. All I can say is stay tuned for what will come in the third series. No show will be the same as the last. No show will have the same mixture of artists. No show will have a specific genre. The talent ranges from R&B, NeoSoul, Jazz, Blues, and Old’ School Rhythm and Blues. To add even more flavor you will get a taste of some upcoming comedians and soul touching spoken word artist. The eventual goal of the productions to bring the entertainment back to the level that it once was. DTE plans to make the live showcases reminiscent of the enjoyable days, when people would go to the Savoy and Cotton Club. All that can be said it don’t miss out on this experience.
