BIO

Caesura is a four piece band formed in early 07' bringing in elements from every genre of music from funk, melodic, metal, alternative, groove, jam, etc. not limiting themselves to one style and being open to all aspects of music. They come from various bands throughout the Kansas City region to form the sound they have today. On drums is Mike who's fast rolls and insanely fast single kick pedal quickly draws many peoples attenion. When it come to bass Shane is the funk/metal driving aspect that works amazing with drums to provide a heavy grove to their music. The guitar who is provided by Brent is very melodic yet agressive with the music. Finally on vocals, is the amazing talents of Joel who's strong voice and versatility makes him a perfect fit with the band's diverse style. Caesura has been traveling the Midwest greatly witin their first year and looking to expand their depths this following year as along with realeasing our first full length EP. Expect much more to come
