| Marcus Garcia is the 23 year old founder, and CEO of Black Eye Entertainment, an indie label that started with a few artists locally in Fayetteville, NC, combined with talent from various hiphop communities he had admistrated when he was younger. The label took off, with lots of radio exposure, and mind blowing talent. He fell into the underground world of crime and drugs when the money got decent, and fell off the planet for a few years. Re-appearing to announce the cold turkey rehabilitation plan, and a lot of changes in his life...Marcus was going to be a daddy. Soon after releasing the "Confessions Of A Drug Addict Mixtape" a dark look into the world that stole him away from hiphop. Re-recruiting and finding a lot of the talent from the label was waiting for him to get his act together, the label picked up where they left off. With Renegade dropping a new project featuring Lord Byron "Prepare 4 Hell - The Mixtape", Blackjack dropping a new insight into his work with "Dark Age Chronicles 'volume' 3", and Mr. XtrA's own rerelease of his classic hits from his younger years. With upcoming projects from Lejon the Rebel, Irish, Mishell-Ivan, Sage Black, BNF, and Noodles, they will continue to be a beacon of hope, in a world where hiphop is being resurrected. |
