Nicole Pearson-Turner, a.k.a. BUT-TAH, a native of Richmond, California. From the very first note she utters from her vocal cords, you’ll find why she is called “BUT-TAH”. Her style is nostalgic, rich and purely sweet to the ears. The music you hear will allow you to reminisce on how soulful singing and live music was and should still be about today. Through BUTTAHFLY ENTERTAINMENT, she is also producing her own live music performance shows. Her continued progress and business savvy has set forth a solid foundation for a tentative tour here in the US and countries abroad. BUT-TAH has wowed audiences….As a former member of the group ‘Patton Letha’, a very successful traveling band, which performs in many of America’s largest and highly acclaimed casinos, resorts and night clubs. She has astounded audiences with her performances on Showtime at the Apollo and American Idol. Bringing an Apollo crowd to their feet has never been an easy task, but one challenge she met with great approval. BUT-TAH’s dedication and passion of her dreams were exemplified in her pursuit of the American Idol crown on seasons 3, 4 and 6, where she made it successfully to the Hollywood round. She has performed all over the U.S. and abroad, touring in many parts of Japan including the “Cotton Club” in Tokyo as a featured guest of the “Whispers” under the musical direction of Mr. Grady Wilkins. The band, “BUTTAHLOVE”, is comprised of young talented musicians who not only have performed locally but also abroad with major label recording artists. They have come together to gel into what will undoubtedly become the most talked about, talented bands of the new era.
