BIO

My real name is Anthony Im 21 years old, alot of my life I lived in the Santa Maria projects until 7 years ago moved into Orcutt. I started freestyling when i was about 10 or 11. To make all my beats i saved up alot of money and bought: an SP-404 sampler, electric guitar, acoustic & electric bass, flute, trumpet, keyboard, violin, turntables plus other random instruments im able to borrow from people i know. I love using live instrumentation, I got sick of just using samples to make beats, I was much more free to do exactly wut i want this way. I write my music based around my life, basically, and what its like living the "HIP-HOP CULTURE", in this day and age where jiggy rap rules the radio. My music also deals with problems with law enforcement, my heroin addiction, frequent use of hallucinogenic & psychadelic drugs and my failed attemps to get clean. Also on my second full length album "The Wide Eyed Ride" I fed off of and drew insperation from a few experieces where my brother tried to stab me in my sleep and also my suicidal tendancies due to a mental illness passed down from my families genetics. The reason Im explaining such in depth & personal information, is so whoever listens to my music can understand it better and know where Im coming from. Recently, Ive been tryen to make songs more about hope and being able to overcome the struggles this twisted world can bring u, I make this music mostly, but not entirely, for people who have been in similar situations. So I hope people enjoy it and can feel what im saying. But anyway love it hate it, im still gonna make it. So Ill end this by saying: HIP HOP its a LIFESTYLE not a FASHION STYLE, so give it a fucken rest on what your wearing and how much it cost. Peace and much respect, to all the hip hop heads reppin the "ELEMENTS" of this culture................for added intensity smoke a joint, Just a thought.

aesop rock, def jux records, pink floyd, jefferson airplane, sublime, peter tosh, hendrix, primus, wes montgomery, rakim, weather report, pharcyde, stones throw records, janis joplin, krs one, zepplin, marley, john coltrane, miles davis and of course kool herc the godfather of hip hop................Also I wanna add that you wont "fully" be able to appreciate my music unless your stones, drunk, twisted or buzzen off of some kind of substance which is how i made almost all my songs, all my friends say it helps them understand the style better, just a thought, I myself still think it sounds good enough sober, but for added intensity try it out.
